The band, which has seen its star rise this summer, is a regular at the legendary Whisky-a-Go-Go in West Hollywood. On this album, they plow through over a dozen tracks covering everything from loneliness and rape to a scorching put-down of organized religion. While Living in Silence may aggravate the most puritan hardcore traditionalists, the album represents a heady new direction for hardcore while remaining palatable for even neophytes to the genre.
