Formed in 2003, Guns of Brixton, with their roots in hardcore punk, rather than in uncompromising reggae, has become a must-see on the dub rock scene in France. After more than 150 concerts in France and Germany and two acclaimed records, Guns of Brixton are back with their third record, this time as a quintet after the arrival of a second guitarist. In the autumn of 2008, Guns of Brixton spent one month in the Souleuvre studio to record their latest record, which was later mastered by Tonteknik studio, known for their work with, among others, Refused and Cult of Luna. The mix of instrumental post-rock pieces and songs with vocals by the group itself - as well as with guest appearances from Burning Heads and Ravi - makes "Cap Adare" a pure rock album. However, Guns of Brixton haven't forgotten their roots and include a rich mixture of dub drum&bass. With their tight and eclectic sound, this group can't keep you from melting.

Thanks for the compliment it means a lot to us!
No, we just got started with this project. We're working on our first Demo at the moment. We have not sent this out to any labels as of right now. We're still testing the field, seeing if people are feeling what we do and having music just making the music for now.
