The Hampshire Jam 'Jam' is an evening of improvised electronic music. The third and final HJ 'Jam' will take place on Friday 14th November 2008 at The Millennium Hall, Liphook, Hampshire.
www.hampshirejamjam.co.uk
The first Hampshire Jam 'Jam' featured over 3 hours of live and improvised electronic music from Xan Alexander, Jez Creek, Dave Gurr, Steve Humphries, Brendan Pollard, John Sherwood and Stephan Whitlan. The evening comprised one continuous performance, divided into seven phases, during each of which 3 of the above performed. In order to keep the music flowing, one of the 3 performers in each phase stayed on for the next one.
Here's a copy of the rota, unfortunately, on the day, Norman Fay, who was due to play, was unable to make it due to family commitments, his placed was admirably filled by Stephan Whitlan who stepped in at the last minute:

A slightly edited version of the event is available as a 2CD set direct from AmbientLive and other good EM stockists.
The second HJ 'Jam' featured nine musicians and followed a similar format, but with some breaks between sections and extra lighting from The Electrick Egg.
The third HJJ will be produced in association with Neusonik and Awakenings
