I don't get it

I joined Virb yesterday but I'm having problems understanding it.

First, the 'explore' tab in the top left hand corner, I click on photos because that's what I'm interested in, but it's the same photos there all the time, why do they not change? I assumed when somebody uploaded a photo it would go to the top of the list (under the shortlisted photos), but it's the same ones, it makes the site boring just seeing the same photos over and over again, what am I supposed to be seeing on the explore page?

Second, the groups. There are only 3 groups ???? And I find the 'Lost' group totally random and bizarre, why has Lost been chosen out of the millions of TV shows there are in the world?

Thirdly, a photo I entered in the Explore Group got a comment and I also commented on another photo in that group but the comments aren't showing up in my 'comment' section in my 'hub', should they ?

As I said, I don't 'get it', can anyone enlighten me?

Other than that I think it's a great site visually with some amazing photography, I'm just having trouble understanding it all.

Explore:
This area is for highlighting really great content on Virb. It's curated by us (the Virb staff) and gets updated once or more a day. It's the best of the best on Virb. If you'd like to see all the photos that members are adding to the site, you want the Public Contributions page in your hub. Here's a link: http://virb.com/hub/activity/contributions/public/photos

Groups
Currently we've only *featured* three groups in the Explore section. Again, that area is for stuff we (the Virb Staff) are showcasing as the best of the best. To find more groups, check out other users profiles and click on their Groups button to see which ones they've joined. You can also do a search and find groups on topics that interest you.

Comments
Your comment section in the hub is specifically for the comments left on your profile items (photos, videos, text, etc); and for comments you leave on other people's profile items (photos, videos, text, etc). Group comments are separate from profile-related comments. And all activity for groups is on the Activity > Groups page here: http://virb.com/hub/activity/groups/

If you write "group" in the search field, then choose "show all groups" you get a list of 1619 groups. I don't know if that is all of them, but I'd say it's a good start.
