Thanks to Hiroshi Fujiwara we can have a look at some interesting upcoming pieces from Uniform Experiment, an on-going collaboration between Sophnet and Fragment Design.

It looks like they will be collaborating with Porter on some wallets and other pouches. Also it seems like they used the same material that they made their ties with on the wallets. Furthermore a new karabiner key chain with multicolor rhinestones and some knitwear is in the pipeline.

Numerous times we have reported about the Takashi Murakami exhibition in the Brooklyn Museum, which starts tomorrow. Also we reported about the Canal Street style booths (but selling real bags and the Murakami x Marc Jacobs Monogramouflage Canvas) that Louis Vuitton organized in front of the museum in order to fight against counterfeits in a more meaningful way.

Thanks to Supertouch we get a look at the opening night, including the Kanye West performance, the art, the vendors, the party, the museum, the limited edition product on offer in the Louis Vuitton store inside the museum and a lot more.

Japanese brand Ubiq got together with store Cactus to work on a collaboration of the Carphill hiking boots. The outcome is interesting. The back heel and the tongue of the boots feature patterned wool panels. The boots come in brown and blue and will be released on 14th of April at Flauge.

This release is a bit on the limit in terms of timing. In April people get ready for the summer. But the boots are nice!

Last week we reported about the launch of the Warhol Factory x Levi's x Damien Hirst collection at Fred Segal. Today we present you the collectors book that is being released along with the line.

The book presents the process of the creation of the collection, as well as all the people involved. The limited edition book comes hard bound in black denim, wrapped in a plexy glass and metal display box. The fashion photographs done by Beau Roulette feature Vincent Gallo and aside from the collection pictures, they also added an interview with Damien Hirst and lots more background information. The collection explores the "Death" theme, as that is a theme both artists are familiar with and that is also the main topic of the book.

The book is now on sale via DHW Books. You can order it with the box for 300 USD or without for 200 USD.

Alife NYC has released a large batch of new Spring 2008 t-shirts. This drop includes some classics in new colorways, one long-sleeve and also several Krink collaboration t-shirts. All in all as usual strong graphics that are on point.

The latest release of the Visvim Spring/Summer 2008 footwear collection is the Logan Lo Canvas. The Logan Lo Canvas comes in all canvas in the upper, only the toe cap and the back heel come in suede. It dropped in three colorways today at Shaft.

Lacoste is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. We already showed you the special poloshirts that were released for the occasion. In fact they made an entire collection and we give you a look at the 75th anniversary sneakers. All in all they present two sneakers in the collection. They come in a black/white colorway and have an overall classic look.

Following the Adidas Materials of the World Series, this one is dedicated to the flavours. Cooked up and delivered with the finest ingredients it takes away any sneaker fan's senses.

This month is inspired by the traditional Qing Ming Festival in China, where they honour their ancestors. Qing Ming means "clear and bright". In April, they enjoy springtime and tend to the graves of departed ones. As it is very windy, kite flying is a very popular tradition as well.

The "Qing Ming Festival" Superstar features a light apricot-coloured upper fabric, like silk with finely woven gold twill. Underneath, a traditional flower ornament print. Wine red leather applications such as the stripes and heel cap and a cream-coloured soft leather tongue.

The "Spread Luv" BK edition will be released to select retailers on April 12th, limited to 92 (as in 1992) units manufactured and distributed. The colorways are Salmon Red and Blizzard white. Note the "Murakami" star in the design.

We give you a preview of the Delivery 1 of the Homeroom Spring '08 collection. The San Francisco brand presents t-shirts as well as 5-panel caps in this drop. The t-shirts mostly play with ironic themes, while still transmitting strong messages.

Mishka got together once again with Cap City to work on three team caps. This time they remixed the Jersey Devils, Vancouver Canucks & Minnesota Northstars. The caps are available at Cap City, the Mishka Pop-up store and unlike last time, also online.

Stone Island has been one of our favorite labels for years now, especially because they never followed any trends and always concentrated on being innovative. That is something rare nowadays, especially by a small independent company. They develop all materials themselves.

A while back we heard that an upcoming collection by the brand was designed by Errolson from Acronym and of course we got excited. Luckily we ran into him a few weeks ago in Berlin and he told us a bit about it and also showed us some samples of the Fall collection. The Stone Island Black Label will get to stores end of the year and will be a little different from the usual Stone Island collection, while still being very innovative, if not even more. Smart design with lots of functionality, the same principles that made Acronym so popular are also the core values of this new collection. Thankfully they also adjusted the cuts a little, because Stone Island is very Italian in their cuts, resulting in overall very short pieces.

Kicks Hawaii will be releasing special pieces of their own collection throughout the entire month of April.
