About

Hello, I'm Martin.

As Deer, I produce freestyle, Detroit-influenced House and Techno which draws on found sounds, organic synths and engaging emotional tensions. My focus is on groove and finely detailed fragments, trying to create an acoustic space that equally suits headphones and the dance floor. In the past I've released more experimental material as random noise productions and will probably revisit that project in the future.

I've also made a documentary film about STFU, a collective of electronic musicians organizing concerts and festivals across Europe (and soon, North America). You can watch the teaser trailer here on Virb or download the whole thing at archive.org.

I graduated from Bauhaus-University Weimar's media arts program in 2006 and am currently relaunching the record label Neo Ouija.

Das war eher als Erinnerungshilfe zu sehen und nicht als erneute Aufforderung ;-) Trotzdem schön wenn du es so auffassen solltest
