Formed in early 2004, originally named Fallen Heroes, but only a month after having done there first show opening for Mute. They had concluded to change there band name due to numerous bands of the same name. For weeks they tried thinking of names only leading to nothing worth mentioning. When one afternoon Jeff was thinking "what do we all have in common?" Then suddenly it struck him "we all dream of fame. We all dream to be... Hit By Glory! " he said to himself. So then after explaining to his fellow band mates his perspective on why they should name there selves "Hit By Glory". They all agreed that this was the most fitting to what they all felt. Also the most decent name they had came up with.

The continuous reconstructions they have endured over the last year was one greater then they had anticipated due to a few line-up changes, leading only to an even more solid sense of song structures and melodies. Every time thriving to get a little more exposure, playing with such bands as Choke, Break the silence, The Reason, Subb, and many more. They also succeeded to getting there first song ever record "Road song" on a compilation called "On casse le son volume 1".
