Just in time for the changing of the seasons, we bring to you some heavy new tunes from Niagara Falls. This is a split CDR with Annapurna Illusion which has been released by the excellent German label, Amid The Waves.

Niagara has two long-form tracks on this limited edition, hand-made release. Housed in deluxe gatefold, chipboard dvd style packaging with color insert. We only have a few of these, so grab em while they’re hot.
Alright now. The new Enumclaw LP, Opening Of The Dawn, is almost here. We’re celebrating this “almostness” by accepting pre-orders for this slab of wax. These are perfect transitional pieces. Summer into Autumn, awake into sleep, square into circle. This album has been a looong time coming, and we’re very jazzed for it’s birth into the world.

Once again, Apollo Audio will be serving your free mp3 download needs. Each record comes with one free download of the mp3 version. Please head over to the Shoppe, to procure one for yourself or a loved one. Orders will ship on 9/22/09 .

Says Peter Taylor of Foxy Digitalis,

"Bubbling electronics and damped sound forge hypnotic noises."

"Mirages of melodies are dissolved in reverb and white noise."

"A very hypnotic side with some of the greatest live synth resonance put to CD-R this year."

"a journey well worth treading and a high recommendation for all into meditative music. 7/103

::UNITED BIBLE STUDIES::
The entrancing psych/folk/improv of the United Bible Studies collective www.desertedvillage.com shows equal love for the unadorned beauty of Shirley Collins and Vashti Bunyan, the electrifried takes of the Incredible String Band, and the darker work of Current 93 and Coil. Sparse folk mixes with a melodic take on free improv, and tales of loss and pagan longing abound. They've released 10 albums on labels like Ruralfaune, Barl Fire, Foxglove, and their own Deserted Village. This tour will be their first live appearances in the US.
myspace
::SHARRON KRAUS::
Twisted folk songs for the new millennium. Her own compositions stand tall beside age-old traditionals from England and Appalachia, and she performs both with a total mastery of the form. Since 2001 she has released five albums on Durtro Jnana, Bo' Weavil, and Camera Obscura, and has toured extensively in the UK and USA.
mypsace
::ENUMCLAW::
New solo project from Norm Fetter of Niagara Falls, and formerly of Golden Ball, mixes free electronic improv with field recordings and live sampling. Deep meditative vibes.
::BLOOD LIKE MINE::

So, so excited for this one! After months of work, we are pleased to bring you this lovely cdr set. Sam and I screened these last weekend, and they really came out beautifully. This is a 2 cdr set. Disc one is titled DNA, disc two is RNA, and both are about one hour each of totalnowhealingdronequarkspiralsynthomness. We think they work well together. The sounds contained herein were recorded as part of the Sweet 69 music marathon which happened last year at Chronic Town in State College, PA. It was an amazing 69 hour continuous music marathon, and Tathagatta played for 10 straight hours!!! I'm serious. Perfect for baby making, and/or yoga.

Says the revered website,

"Niagara Falls offer three tracks of wonderful smoke filled music, the second of which 'Acid Of Ants' is a tense scuttle of noise that creeps under the skin like that itch you just cannot reach. The third piece 'Morning Mold' is a much slower track, the sound of space debris floating endlessly across the universe, to be finally sucked into a dying sun."

I'm still looking for the news items from June 2004- November 2005, but here are some choice entries from what's been unearthed so far.
