About

Hopio is a trash-bin (collection) solo project of mine featuring bonus tracks of odd demos, live recordings and silly improvisations. Since I don't really have any recording equipment at the moment, I am just digging through some old stuff and wanted to document it somewhere.

The first 12 tracks were written and recorded by Jake (With the exception of "She Believes," which is a cover of a Pavement song as well as "City of Verx" which was a collaboration between Jake and Luke.) Jake plays all instruments and sings.

The rest of the album is bonus stuff featuring Jake and other members listed to the right -->

IT IS:

The title is in reference to an old Sylvania television set I used to have that
picked up cellphone conversations when the knob was tuned just right.
