Myles J Story, born and raised in Roxbury Massachusetts, has created a new style of Hip Hop. Infectious, Soulful rhythmic beats accompanied by a completely dissimilar tone of voice provides the feel of my music. I believe a man is more than who he is with his niggas, his woman or his customers. Adapting to these different life entities, is my music. Everyone from DJ's to radio personalities have commented on the clear quality of my music. But creating a genre is very tricky in Boston Music. The positive feedback that I have received from a host of people from different walks of life, means that music ain't just hot, it has the potential to be classified CLASSIC. Myles J Story's music is a different perspective to the familiar theme of inner city life. Not a conscious feel, or thuggish feel, my music can best be described as " Man Music". I have a new CD entitled "SKY LINE", a mix tape by the name CONTRABAND and a catalog of songs featuring myself and other established artists in the industry. The local DJ's that have heard my material are anxious to flood Boston and other cities with my product. The feeling is invigorating! I've been doing this "music thang" for more than 3 years, and have learned the business and creative aspects to being considered one of the elite in the music business. The criticism early on from A&R's and listeners alike have helped to hoan my marketing skills and the way I compose a song. Set backs are opportunities to learn, not a dead end.
