The theme of HUGO Create Round 3 revolves around "City Sounds", the way that sounds (in the largest sense) affects our perception of the city. In cities as New York, London or Tokyo, ... many metropolitan noises resonate to create an unbelievable soundscape. Imagine a busy shopping street with a lot of voices, a busker playing the saxophone, a police siren, car tires, trucks and scooters zipping... Sometimes we prefer to walk to the beat of a different drum. The songs we listen to on our mp3-player are a welcome supplement whilst moving through the city. Our choice of songs and volume control play an important part in propping up a mood or attitude. "City Sounds" is all about what goes on "outside" and what goes on between one's ears.
