hunz's style may be hard to pinpoint, but his goal is a simple one: to bring music and art and animation together in one place. Everything new has been done; he only copies and pastes. He places the absolute of one feeling here and then puts another one over there. It is detached. It is disjointed. But it still smiles while remaining personal and close. His vocals change to suit the personality and feeling in each song, but he manages to knit a thread that remains distinctly "hunz". It is unusual, because it pulls apart that which is familiar -- leaving the listener stretched as a person, much like life.

His influences may help explain where he gets his philosophy. When asked about music that is important to him, hunz replied, "Kate Bush is the mother of feelings in music for me. Then everyone that added on to that -- Bjork, Mum. And then people who just thought music needed more pasting around -- Aphex Twin, Amon Tobin, Plex, Boards of Canada, Squarepusher and telefon tel aviv."
