Hybu fell in love with music in the late 90s during the Big Beat era. Finally he had discovered his sound, the music he really felt. At the same moment, Nu Skool Breaks was born and logically the young 14years old Etienne (his real name) want into it. Then he began to produce some stuffs on his personal computer, just for fun, as a simple after school free time leisure. But each day more, his passion for music grew.
His first tracks were just some funny electro-house stuff with stupid surrealistic lyrics. But then came Bazzzz which was probably his first breaks tune ever. He uploaded it on the web and receive some supports from upcomming producers who fastly became friends. This tune and a drum'n bass remix he did for his older brother Alex Delaville featured on a internet only compilation.
In the same time, Hybu began to deejaying. He appeared the first time in a parisian mix bar in september '04. His main dj set were during the year 2005, playing at the Nouveau Casino thanks to RPM parties alongside big UK names such as Plasticman, Paradox, Nucleus or Slaughter Mob. From two years now, he founded Reewind crew which one of the only UK Garage crew over France with his good friends Rembrandt, Bluff, Slyder, Freaka, Leks, Clyde also supported by Alsott, the biggest grime producer Absurd or the french garage pioneer Rolexx.
Hybu is known over the paris place for his blend of grime uk garage breaks mixset.
His versatility made him taking part into Resofantom crew with Absurd, Snatch to name a few.
Hybu also produce some House music, 2step garage, speed garage or even a bit of techno music. (check out his Soundclick page).
