So it's finally here. The Dark Knight has finally arrived and everyone and their mother has tickets to go see it. So, I figured that in honor of the most anticipated movie of the year opening tonight/tomorrow, I would predict what I think it will be making from ticket sales for Friday through Sunday. Keep in mind that the standing record is held by Spiderman 3 with $151,116,516.

The Dark Knight Opening Weekend Box Office Total Will Be:
 $175,500,000

So there it is. It will completely smash Spiderman 3 and blow Iron Man's $100,800,000 opening weekend into oblivion.

Oh, and on a side note, I've got reason to believe that a Green Lantern movie has been green lit (pun completely intended). I'm trying to get details so I can get as officially excited as a Japanese business man who just found a new leather business card holder.
