For real. I haven’t had any responses to my last few posts.

I don’t really like that. Oh well.

I LOVE how the iPhone headphones work with the new MacBooks and MacBook Pros. I love just clicking the button to change songs. And that the mic works in GarageBand and stuff like that.

I have yet another new band I’ve been digging. Lydia. They’re one of those Mark VanSickle bands, but they are dang good. Cool mix. Very warm and true. No over production.

Feelin good

I have been doing a lot of what I love lately.

I have been playing/working on so many of my friends albums. It’s so great.

It feels like I’m kind of a session guitar player. I know its not totally like that, since I don’t get paid or solely devote my whole day’s time to it, but it still feels really awesome.

The projects I’ve been working on (and still are) have been awesome. Fox and the forrest, Kyle Blake, Briar Cotts and of course my own personal band, The Sailor Sequence (Which is sounding amazing by the way).

And then today, I got called to play on another project for a cell phone carrier theme song project. Sounds hilarious but still could be fun and cool. Got the info on it today and it seems like it could be a cool sounding track. We’ll see.

Well, I don’t have much else to say except that I found out that the amp I posted a couple posts ago come in a Head and Cabinet option. That rules because I really want a head and cab instead of just another combo. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Hot Rod combo but I’m ready to change things up.

K sorry. I know that no one cares about these things but I feel like this is just a good place to write them.

I just wrote a long post and lost it. I’m so angry right now.

Anyways, sorry for not writing on here a lot. I don’t think anyone reads it anyways cause its easy to forget about. But sorry if you do read it and that I don’t update. I really want to but I just can’t ever think of things to put. If I do its usually something that I shouldn’t put publicly anyways.

Things have been good. Or better I should say. I had a real nice day today and I needed it. It was nice.

I’ve been playing music a lot more lately. With my band, church, peoples records. It feels nice and fun. It feels like I’m getting closer to being a session player. Which I really want to be someday.

I’ve been listening to a new artist, Jeremy Larson. LOOK HIM UP. You’ll like him. He’s great. Totally someone my brother Matt would dig.

The weather was really weird today. Started out rainy and gray (which I loved by the way and I never really like that style). Then the sun came out and it was perfect weather….then tonight it was incredibly cold and the wind made it even worse. I hated that part of the day.

I got really sleepy tonight when I was at a friends house. That never happens to me. Ever. It was weird/scary to me. I wish I got tired like that more often though. Only before bed of course, not early in the evening.

Been working out lately. Doing sit up and pushups. No real style really, just until it hurts and I can’t do them anymore.

PS. I really want this amp It sounds realllllly nice. Perfect tone. Great clean headroom but can break up just the perfect amount. I really want new gear. All the time. What a bad thing to want. UGH.

Bored with life but having fun

I haven’t been doing anything really amazing lately but I’ve had fun.

Worked on a Sooner Or Later song tonight. It sounds fun/good. Hopefully playing a reunion show April 3rd.

Got my hoodies in the mail finally. After the tear and wrong size mishap, I finally have received the two correct ones and I love them.

I haven’t been able to sleep in lately. It’s CREEPIN me out. I’m the master at sleeping in. At least I thought I was but I haven’t been recently and I HATE it.

Found an old cd that I used to love when I was a teen punk rocker online NEW for 8 bucks. Ordered it, got it today. Love listening to it. Reminds me of the good days with Jared D. Bond.

Getting tired of the life routine. Who isn’t though? No sense in complaining when no one cares.

I really like my band and what we’ve been doing. Things seem like they are working out. Slowly but surely.

Time to sleep in my amazing bed that I love.

Thinking of writing this post is stupid. There’s nothing worth writing about. I feel like I need to though or this blog is pointless. It is anyways.

Nothing new has been going on.

Valentines Day was dumb. What a stupid holiday. Nothing was special. Same style of day as any other.

I did however get a sweet new hat for 50 cents. Its like my normal hat but its longer and gray. I like that.

That is really all I can think of. I have to work tomorrow and Tuesday. 930 AM shifts. I hate those but I love when they get over cause I have like a whole day to hang. It’s like when I sleep in but I got money instead.

K that is it. For real.

Feels good to be done and now we are ready to mix (which will take forever but will be FUN). Then send to get mastered and then duplicate/press.

Other than that. I’ve been having a good time not working lately and hanging with some old friends.

I got the new Dierks Bentley cd. I love it SO much. Most people that read this blog won’t care. Oh well.

I’m SO good at hiding feelings. I love forgetting about stupid things and being able to have fun and not think.
But it’s getting pretty tiresome now. I’ll keep doing it though. Always do.

Saw one of my best friends play his last show with his “Pretty Successful” band tonight. It was weird. I felt kinda old being there. But it was a good time.

I’m just bored lately.

I haven’t been working lately and that SUCKS/RULES.

I like not having to go and being able to hang till the wee hours of the morning with people. BUT I hate being poor.

Last night was awesome. Got home a bit earlier than normal and gotta relax before just having to go straight to bed and sleep. Had a good conversation with an old friend. Read the Bible from my sweet Bible iPhone app. It was really weird how the daily read was exactly what the old friend and I were needing to hear. I loved it.

I have been listening to Matt Jensen’s songs a lot lately. His Advent remix is soo good. Plus he’s been teaching a few of them to me. I love Matt Jensen. What an awesome guy.

I ordered three new American Apparel hoodies last night. All for 63 Bucks! I’m so stoked to get them! This is what they look like:

Yesterday was Great.

Yesterday was such a funny/great day.

First off I hung out with two people that I don’t really see ever. Tyler Bottles and Matt Jensen. It was great. We went to the friend in MO, Musicians Friend. We hung there for a while and saw some pretty crappy and ridiculous gear. But it was fun.

On the way back, we decided to stop off at Ameristar Casino. It was hilarious. We all played a dollar and Tyler and I came out even but Matt used his dollar on computer BlackJack. He rules at it though. He knows all the sweet moves.

We drove back to Olathe cause Matt had to do some work and Tyler and I waited at Tyler’s place and then Matt came and picked us up and we went to Jakes for some good Howard Breakfast. It was SO good.

After hanging at the Howards for a few hours we then went to THE PUNCH and recorded a never before recorded Sooner Or Later song. It was sick! Jared came and ruled the drums so good. We got all the drums tracked and sounding good. Don’t know when will finish the rest but we will and it will be good. It was good taking a step back into my old pop punk days.

It was just a overall awesome day. I wanted to write this last night but it was like 430AM when I could have and I was just too tired.
