Adam Sarmiento is currently at work on his third release under the name I and I. The first I and I record "We Are" received critical acclaim for it's bold blending of song writing and electronic music. The new record is moving in a tighter, leaner and more refined direction that could best be described as dance music for your headphones or songs for food preparation in the 21st century. There is the darkness of industry contrasting with the brightness of a summer's day. There are ethereal voices singing in familiar languages and syncopated poly rhythms in foreign ones.
