Philosophically, I am a Hedonist/Bi-Polar/Post Modernist (pseudo/archaic).
I briefly held the world record for water-treading. The first 8 hours were the hardest. The next 8 were hell as well. My official time was 16 hours 32 minutes and 14 seconds, at which point I slowly began to drown and was judged to no longer be "treading".
I have devised a complex mathematical formula to compare and contrast scores from Junior figure-skating competitions (ASFS sanctioned) across the country. It is not as well-known as the Mendinsky/Shpelmen system which is currently in use, but is mathematically and functionally superior in every way.
I dream fluently in nine languages: Hindi, Russian, English, Scottish, Nepalese, North Korean, South Korean, Farsi, Super-Farsi (arcane).
I have performed three independently funded studies on the dietary habits of the Alaskan King Crab. All three have been well received, although almost wholly inconclusive.
My current labor of love is a re-composition of Gustav Mahler's "Der Ring des Nibelungen" into the language of "Super-Farsi (arcane)".
Amelie, Waking Life, Fight Club, American Beauty, The Saddest Music In The World, Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait, Martin Scorsese, Paul Thomas Anderson, Steven Soderbergh, Alfred Hitchcock, Wes Anderson, et. al.
Early West Wing, Sports Night, Studio 60, anything else by Aaron Sorkin. Lost, (yeah I know...), Six Feet Under.
Micheal Chabon, Joseph Heller, Hunter S. Thompson, Nick Hornby, Chuck Pahlaniuk, Roddy Doyle, JD Salinger, Philip Roth, Tom Robbins, The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy Series et. al.
Well, you deserve a reward of some sort for my longest ever comment! And so quick too. You know what? I sort of thought he might be dead judging by the date on the poster ... if you want to make cash (for real though - and I would still like the inside gossip on what this is all about??) have you considered writing (The Onion???!) or at least submitting something, somewhere - ok, you won't get your money anytime soon, and not within the week, but as a long-term plan, it could work.

Sorry to hear that. I love Fremont. Hopefully the new place will work out. I just heard a rumor that the Alpha A700 started to ship this week. Some guy on DPreview.com messageboard said his shipped today and will arrive tomorrow. Hopefully, my order also made it to the first batch that shipped this week. If not, I will likely receive next week, or first week of October at the latest. Starting to get anxious for sure. Been waiting for this camera to come out for months. I even bought a new Carl Zeiss lens to go with it. Going to have fun paying all this off over the next year. I just maxed out my credit card. Hah.

Because we have a Chris Thile bond, I"ll have you know that I realized yesterday I missed the local bluegrass fest he was at last weekend. That's two in a row. I'm itchin to hear him, but I think Gillian live is lacking more in my life.
