Passage: Luke 22:39-46

Jesus was the perfect rebel when it cam to rebelling against culture. He was ridiculed, slandered, beat, and nailed to a cross, but he never gave into temptation. He was perfect. The problem is we are not perfect. While Jesus defeated sin and death, we haven't. The good news is that he has left us a great example on how to rebel. One way is to pray to God to give us that strength we need to over come that temptation in our life. We often times forget to do something so simple in our life. We let the busyness of life take over that we forget to stop and pray. Prayer is one of the most important things we can do in our Christian walk. If Jesus prayed right before we died on the cross, I think that we should be doing more praying in our life.
