Insomnia Film Festival http://virb.com/insomniafilm Virb 2.0 (@insomniafilm) en Robin http://virb.com/insomniafilm/videos/1744477 We were given ten objects at 6 am and had to choose 3 of them to build a story around. Then we had to shoot edit and submit it within 24 hours. The name of the feature is Robin. It is the story of a guy that can't let go of his ex-girlfriend. We wanted every line to have a double meaning and to tell a story that is based on a preexisting and unrevealed story line. We also decided to demonstrate their distance by never having them in the same shot. The girl is symbolized by the bird that they had bought together and named Darjeeling but he has since renamed the bird Robin. We had three minutes to take him from being unable to give her up to him deciding to let her go. I think it worked well. You may have to watch it twice to get the full story.
