We ran into Chris Otepka earlier this year in Austin performing under the pseudonym, The Heligoats. You may remember his previous band of six years - Troubled Hubble - played here in the past at Insomnia by past DJs. We were at the Yarrr! PR event pictured, sponsored by Greyday Records and in smaller ways by Insomnia Radio (we paid for the pirate/elvis sandwiches!). Needless to say, fans of Chris have been waiting for years for a new release and he's just delivered with the End of All Purpose EP.

The Heligoats was Otepka's first songwriting outlet. He wrote his first pieces in 1998 before eventually forming Chicago-based Troubled Hubble.
