Interest Relief is music to live to. It is an experimental rock pop sound that is distinctively accessible. This music helps to prove that people are intended for authenticity through a fresh take on the idea that great songs move the person and not just the body.
Led by Birmingham, AL songwriter, Brad McConnell, Interest Relief is passionate about creating new and innovative music. The band just finished recording with producer Rusty Varenkamp, who is most recently known for his work with Mute Math. With elements similar to Radiohead and Wilco, Interest Relief is winning new fans of all ages.
"Interest Relief is the music that I've always wanted to make," says writer and lead singer Brad McConnell. "I finally feel comfortable enough with myself to offer my unique perspective. The fact that some people seem to enjoy IR is proof that each of us has a purpose and the ability to serve others, even in doing what we love, especially in doing what we love." Interest Relief creates songs that are genuine and innovative, while keeping things simple. Just as life is natural and deep and moving and real, so is the music of Interest Relief.

I'm not 100% sure The Frequencies will be at Compound. I'd like to... but it's expensive to have a band.
I'll be out of town next week on vaction but I really want to get together soon.
