"The record begins with a far out instrumental feedback fest that surely sets the mood for this emotional six-song release from Bellingham's into the storm. Hypnotic riffs and screaming dominate along with angst filled lyrics that show the typical disillusionment of so many of us today. The record is like listening to the great Pavement that breaks into intense yet sometimes annoying screamcore type rants. This into the storm and across the deserted plains EP makes you have feelings of being disaffected by the end of the record. I was empty, almost depressed when I finished. At that point I listened again and made it really loud. I then was more depressed but realized that this band is tight. Good work between guitar, drums, and bass. The vocals are great as long as that screamer vocal/alter ego from hell stays in his cage. You know what they say, to each their own. I look forward to checking them out live one day."

"We all admire the spangled acrobat with classical grace meticulously walking his tight rope in the talcum light; but how much rarer art there is in the sagging rope expert wearing scarecrow clothes and impersonating a grotesque drunk! I should know." (Vladimir Nabokov)
