Introvert (aka Jukka Varis) was born in Northern Finland in 1982. He lives now in Helsinki, which is situated in the southern coast of Finland. He has been making music for over 7 years, including progressive house back in 2004-2005 and his first own release from Aurium records. He has now shifted to more techno and idm -oriented sounds which were recently noticed by the famous techno producer Orlando Voorn. Introvert's music has also been noticed by James Zabiela, Funk 'D Void and Darren Emerson, to name a few.
Today Introvert finds melodic techno to be most interesting to produce. He has been influenced by many kinds of music genres, and his continuous quest for new intriguing sounds is inspired by the will not to get bored by music and producing. This can also be heard in his dj sets - everything from melodic techno to ambient and idm is present in his mixes. "It's not about genres, it's just the good music for the soul and mind" says the sensitive artist.
The words "original", "emotionally attractive", "artistic", "atmospheric" and "experimental" are the best to describe Introvert's sound. It gives people different moods and visions, something to listen closely to and to think about, and it works on the dancefloor too.
I do live and dj gigs, for a bookings send email to introv [at] gmail [dot] com or contact throught myspace.
