One of the largest songwriting competitions in the world, ISC offers entrants a chance to share in $150,000 in cash and prizes, including an Overall Grand Prize package of $25,000 (US) in cash and over $20,000 in merchandise, unmatched by any other songwriting competition. ISC welcomes original songs from musicians, artists, and songwriters at every level from amateur to professional. You may submit as many songs as desired in each category or enter the same song in more than one category.

      <description><![CDATA[The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) is now accepting entries for the 2008 competition, and is excited to announce the addition of a new category for 2008: Music Video. More than $150,000 in cash and prizes will be shared among the 62 winners, including an overall Grand Prize of $25,000 (US) cash and $20,000 in prizes. 

ISC offers artists the opportunity to have their submissions judged prestigious music celebrities such as Rob Thomas (Matchbox 20), Tom Waits, KT Tunstall, Robert Smith (The Cure), T-Pain, Ray Davies (The Kinks), Loretta Lynn, Buckcherry, Neil Finn (Crowded House), and lots more. The 2008 judging panel also includes a long list of music industry executives such as Monte Lipman (President, Universal Records) and Amy Doyle (Sr. Vice-President Music and Talent, MTV).  

Entries in the Music Video category will be accepted in either DVD or VHS format, or entrants may give ISC the URL of a website where the video can be viewed, and ISC will go to the website and view it there. ISC will go to YouTube, your MySpace page, your website, or any other website. ISC has a total of 20 categories to choose from. ISC welcomes original music videos from musicians, artists, and songwriters at every level from amateur to professional.
