Biography

A passionate singer,gifted guitarist,and
insightful songwriter, Israel Gonzales has caught the ear of thousands of Myspace music lovers across the U.S.with his soaring vocals,honest lyrics,and soulful acoustic/pop sound.

Gonzales, 28, believes in making a positive impact on the world through music. Raised in Fort Worth Texas,Israel Gonzales could sing as soon as he could talk but,it wasn't until 2003 that Gonzales knew he wanted to pursue music as a career. After 4 years of late night writing sessions and playing open mic nights,Gonzales finally found the original sound he was seeking.

2008 has been a busy one for Israel Gonzales.In
September,Gonzales collaborated with Director/Photographer Ryan Brown to film his first official music video for his original song “BlueSky".Despite a zero budget, no crew and shot over only two half-days the video was a success!

Soon thereafter,Gonzales found himself in a Dallas studio working with talented Producer Dustin Cavazos and an up and coming Hip-Hop artist named Ty City.Gonzales was asked to sing on a track titled“Ghetto Gospel”. The combined efforts of the pair prompted performances at Hailey’s in Denton,Tx and The Prophet Bar in Dallas,Tx.

In February 2009,Israel was asked to be interviewed by DFWreporting.com. The interview was filmed and released in early March 2009. The interview previews songs scheduled to be on Israels’ debut EP! “Rooftops” and “1000 More Times” are the newest tracks to be recorded in studio. Debut EP is due out in Fall 09’!
