It's Birds started playing together in late 2006. They have a substantial and growing fanbase in the college town of Morgantown, WV, where they consistently draw a large crowd at their shows.
Utilizing a combination of absurd lyrics, complex time signatures, and unusual chord voicings, they weave a beautiful web spun by a retarded but lovable spider.
Drummer Jason Birch went to high school and then somewhere after that. Brian Spragg and Andrew Slater, guitarist/vocalist and bassist/vocalist respectively, both went to college and then quit. George Zatezalo, guitarist, graduated college but makes less money than the others. Andrew, George, and Jason are originally from West Virginia, and Brian is from 2 minutes outside of West Virginia--somewhere in Ohio we think.

Killed At Camp, Apr 25, 2007:
It's Birds was a huge influence on Killed at Camp too. If there is a reunion show in our future, I could not imagine playing without It's Birds.

it's disturbing how beautiful it sounds when you sing "she's got a bun in the oven but i'm not hungry."
