I love that old school vibe of hardcore just as it was factioning into happy house and jungle...
So much energy and ecstatic bliss was infused in the tunes circa 89 to 94
and this weeks broadcast definitely represents this part of my musical influence.
The first hour takes us from modern tech rollers back through jazzcore, dipping briefly into liquid funk
to the early roots of neurofunk, and then to ooooollllddd school jungle!!! Yeah bad bwoy!
With the 2nd hour we rebound the opposite direction and explore a lot of revisionist dubs of the old school
classics that have shaped our modern drum n bass musical context....
