I wanted to share my experience with this very popular web application. Being a computer nerd I'm always browsing the web for new and exciting things to try out. One day I stumbled upon Scrybe before it even went into beta testing, so I watched the promotional video and I was very excited, more than the usual dose of excitement, this was special. I submitted my email and info to the website so I could try it for myself. This was back in October of 2006. Some time later I received an invitation to become a tester for the product. I accepted the invitation, and I'm glad I did.
Before this calendar application I have never used one before so it was new to me, but when I started using it I realized how much time it saved me and it actually made my life somewhat easier. The aesthetic beauty of this product made me want to try it alone, but when you throw in great features on top of that it makes it so much better. No longer do I have problems remembering important dates such as birthdays or anniversaries, whenever there is a birthday or anniversary I get an email sent to me stating exactly what's going on that day.
I've been using this for quite some time now and there have been some delays in the update process, but the Scrybe team always seems to add some new features that make me forget about the delays. There have been some talks about charging for the service, but if they end up charging I think I will pay because this is like nothing I’ve used before. I'm excited to see where they will take it next.
Overall I think the product will revolutionize how we see applications. Google is doing the same thing as the Scrybe team, and developing web applications, which could easily replace normal applications in the future due to their flexibility and mobility.
