The third annual Red Bull Soap Box Race will be taking place this weekend. in my backyard. well, not technically by "backyard", but it's close enough that I could see from my living room windows.

i'm rooting for "Bundy Clan", an all dude team impersonating the beloved family from the hit television show 'Married With Children'. they race on a couch! and team 'Great Scott!' whose racer will be made of flux capacitors and DeLorean parts.

i'll be hosting a 'Bring your own boxed wine and Chair Party' after the festivities. 'Boxed wine' because, well of course because it's a soap BOX race, and 'bring your own chair' because I have yet to purchase a single piece of furniture for my new place.
