For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on Him, but also to suffer for Him...

I was reading this verse tonight, and meditating on it. Suffering? What does that really mean for a Christian in the 21st century...in America? Then I was thinking about me. How do I suffer? I think I suffer from myself...my sin. I suffer from stress, worry, and self-dependence. But, I think what I suffer from is consequence of my sin. Not suffering for Christ.

Any thoughts?
