VIRB

i watch the world change around me, i see my friends become involved, i see my friends break. i see happy married couples i see the people fighting around the corner.

i have sat in the middle of thousands of people and watched the world move and it seems that i am not going anywhere,its a strange feeling. although others are just moving quickly to get where they want, i am remaining calm and still.

doesnt it seem to be that all we see is what we dont have?

its a funny thing. because at times we want what we dont have, when we just need to realize that we already have all we need. and that Christ readily gives us everything we need to function, we are okay. i am okay.

anyways this verse is one of my absolute favorites. its something that keeps me going, it keeps me instilled with morals, it keeps me away from looking for love in all the wrong places.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
