I live in the Detroit, Michigan area. I play guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, dulcimer, keyboards, synthesizers, and drums. My music ranges from acoustic pieces to synthesizer experimentation to death metal to bluegrass to ambient, ect. I play most of the instruments on my solo work but I occasionally choose to record with some of the wonderful musicians that I have met over the years. I record my music onto a variety of formats including a 2-track stereo reel to reel recorder from the early 60's, 4-track analog cassette, 8-track reel to reel, and 24-track digital. I have recorded 9 solo albums and 6 solo E.P.s'.

In addition to my solo outings I work with an improv band called "House Music" whose music is always created on the spot. It's "instant music" if you like. I am also half of a duo which is called "Spooky Garcia". We play our own version of "Alt. Country" music.
