About
Former member and founder of multi-platinum and two times MTV Awards Latin America winner band, LIBIDO, Jeffry Fischman began his music career as a member, musician, songwriter and manager of the band. After the first album's success -which led to a contract with Sony Music- he focused entirely in the artistic side; always assisting and developing his ideas as an executive producer for albums and shows. During these years, Jeffry recorded as member of the band, 4 pop-rock albums and many of his songs reached the first place on the national and international radio and media rankings. Gifted songwriter, Jeffry wrote "En Esta Habitación" ("In this room") which became Song of the Year (Perú, 2000). Fischman toured the world playing with LIBIDO in concerts w/ over 50,000 people. Along these years, he worked with successful producers and engineers such as: Duane Baron (Ozzy Osbourne), Tweety Gonzalez (Cerati), Thom Russo (Juanes), Doug Trantow (Hootie and the Blowfish), etc. Fischman started his studies in music at a very young age obtaining later a bachelor degree in Arts from the University of Texas at Austin. Parallel to his writing, production, arranging and playing for Libido, he constantly realized musical productions for different artists. His last work in his country was for female singer/ songwriter Roxx. In 2004, Jeffry moved to the USA to continue his career as a producer/songwriter. He specialized at Berklee College of Music while working as a freelance producer/ songwriter. In 2005 he was finalist of The USA Songwriting Competition (with thousands of participants around the world). At present Producer/ Songwriter Jeffry Fischman is based in New York City producing and writing for Latinamerican and English artists working with top level professionals in the industry.
