There have been lots of criticism about Apple's redirection of iMovie in this new upgrade. But i like it for its simplicity. I whipped this up in about an hour and that was only my first time using the app. I took this movie on my point-and-shoot, using the video button. Am i an amateur or what?!

This is a shot of Taos Mountain, the 2nd day after opening for the 2007-08 season. It was after a perfect day skiing--lots of powder, even though we learned that in March, the mountain will be opened to snowboarders for the first time--one of the last resort hold-outs. It will certainly be an end of an era.
