I'm a city girl, but I love a good Sunday drive on quiet back roads. I value correct spelling, probably too much. One of my biggest pet peeves is talking during movies. Relationships are dangerous and compelling. I was told once that one broken person with another doesn't equal a relationship, it equals a hospital. Jack & Cokes make me flirt madly. The appropriate response to this behavior is to call me a cab. I enjoy meeting new people and I love a good conversation. I quit smoking on my birthday and it has made me terribly moody. It also makes me smoke sometimes regardless. Have patience with me... I am addicted to cashews, the really salty kind. Maybe I'll give those up on my next birthday, but I doubt it.

I love Jesus, and without His presence in my life everyday, I am lost and generally unforgiving. He makes me new slowly but surely. I have spent the better part of my 20's living carelessly and selfishly. I've learned the hard way that this is much less satisfying than I originally believed it would be. I like to get my room good and messy, and then cleaning it and getting rid of all the junk feels like therapy. It amazes me the kinds of thoughts we allow ourselves to carry around in our head without realizing it. Sometimes it's good to just clean house.
