Learning SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

The more websites I am apart of, the more and more I want to learn new things. I am currently continuing my knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimization). I am reading books, blogs, how-to's, how-not-to's, etc etc.

If Andy Warhol had an iPhone

I was at the grocery store today with my wife. I was walking around looking at different items. I decided to take some pics of the different products with my iPhone.

Later, I got to looking at the photos and they reminded me a little of Andy Warhol.

So, I decided to play around with the photos using one of my favorites apps, CameraBag.

Just looking around at the grocery store and studying all of the different colors and designs used in the product packaging, I started to see the beauty that Warhol saw.

We ran in the Boulevard Bolt yesterday morning (Thanksgiving)....

We ran in the Boulevard Bolt yesterday morning (Thanksgiving). As you can see, we dressed up as Pilgrams. The race was 5 miles (not 5K - as we thought when we signed up). There were almost 8,000 runners. The race was to benefit the Nashville Rescue Mission. They raised over $100,000! This was our first Boulevard Bolt. We hope to do this every year.

Being Lincoln-Men with Hats: A Film by Elvis Wilson

My friend, Elvis Wilson, has made a beautiful documentary, called "Being Lincoln- Men with Hats". The film explores the phenomenon of Abraham Lincoln impersonators (or as explained in the Nashville Scene, "Abraham Lincoln presenters").

Being Lincoln is an upbeat, up close look at the lives and motivations of a few of the over 160 men across the United States who are dedicated to bringing Abraham Lincoln to life. These "honest Abes" are living tributes to our 16th President, and a testament to the power of Lincoln's legacy. But what kind of man would spend $400 on a stovepipe hat, glue a pencil eraser on his face, and spend most of his time walking in someone else's (very large) shoes? There will be a special screening at the Belcourt Theater on Wed, Nov 19th @ 7pm.
