Hello. I am Jeremy Mitchell and this is where my music lives on the internet.
I started playing music in front of people in 2001. I was in a group called, Two Kings. It was me and my roommate, Jayah Kawa. Later on, we added a drummer and a bass player . We still kept the name, "Two Kings", even though there were four of us. We played mostly covers and just had a good time.
I had three goals with my music: 1. I wanted to have a full band, with a saxophone player, 2. I wanted to play at a venue in Nashville called, 3rd and Lindsley, and 3. I wanted to record a live album. ALL of those goals came true on the same night. ("Rock N Roll without Pianos" was recorded live at 3rd and Lindsley, in Nashville, TN, on Martin Luther King day in 2006, with a full band including a saxophone player-Josh Yohe, Chris Weston-drums, Stanton Lee-mandolin/electric guitar, Seth Miller-bass, and Me-acoustic guitar, vocals, harmonica).
After I reached those goals, I was satisfied with "retiring" my music career.
During the five years of me playing music, I met hundreds of cool people, wrote a bunch of songs, learned a lot about myself, learned a lot about people, learned a lot about the music industry, and had a blast.
I now reside in Nashville, Tennessee with my wife Kathy. I am a fulltime print and web designer. I attend church at Fellowship Bible Church in Franklin, TN. I am the founder of a movement called Cover Their Feet. And I am the proud owner of a 1993 Jeep Cherokee.
