When there is nothing else for you to depend on, what do you have left. Many of us lose all hope and faith when things get bad, we seem to lose ourselves. Moreover, you are what got you hear in the first place. There is something in you that got you to this point in the first place. It does not matter if you are a dreamer or just a person that loves being you. You, should never lose you, no matter what chips are down. Now matter what cards you have been given, you are the person that can change where and what you are. So, many of us have placed so much faith in God laying it in our lap. However, faith without works is dead, this means, you need to get off your butt and do some work, not for someone else. If it is your desire, to work for yourself, you need to do the work necessary for the job that God has given you. Can't no preacher, teacher, school, are husband or wife do that for you.

Now, I am not saying that you should not believe in people are God, but I believe that God through his son Jesus, which is inside of you, has given you all you need to get the job done, all you have to do is believe in you. Malcolm X once said "by any means necessary." Sometimes the means by which you have to get things done will not be the same as you were taught in school or your parents, your road will be different from everyone else.

Not only this, you can not depend and anyone to get the job done, however, you can learn from others. This is the purpose of mentors, you must learn all you can from them, because they are not the ones who will catch the fish for you, you must catch the fish for yourselves. Now depending on how well you learn how to catch fish, you then can become a fisher of men, because you now have a trade that is in demand, and you now know how to supply. I am saying this, because Social Media is a way to catch fish, but if you don't want it bad enough you will only go as far as you are right now.

Everyone can network, but not many people can turn networks into influence. We all network, with or without us knowing we do, but you have to present yourself as a person of standard, with the ability to bring substance the the lives of others. What can others depend on you for, what can you provide to others that will make them think of you when there are things to be done? We as believers spend a lot of time focused on being on the mind of God, that we forget that God desires for us to love our neighbors, and I believe that if we are not only focus on whether or not God's mind is on us, we should wonder if we are on the mind of others. Because, people gravitate to those who show themselves focused.

I am not saying that you should care what people are thinking of you, because even if people don't like you, they still are thinking about you. You are still on there minds, you will be sleeping like a dove, and because you are so developed in who you are, you will drive others crazy trying to figure out why you are so driven.

Great people surround themselves with great people, so if you are wondering why you are not great, who are you surrounded by. If you are wondering why you can not take off to the place you desire to be, stop blaming God, and look at yourself and your friends. If your friends are in the same boat as you are, and have yet to go anywhere, then that is a sign to where you are going. It even goes down to the church you attend, if everyone who has the potential to do great but never do, do to whatever reason, then you need to question why you are there. Yea , I know you are there for the word, thats great and all, but if the word is not making you become the person God has created you to be, then the word is not life, and we need life to grow. Church was never meant to stunt grow, but the Church is a store house, for the spoils of war. You can't fill the store house, if you have not conquered anything.

God does not need you to feel the pew's on Sunday, if on Monday you have not killed a Goliath. Before David became King, his first task was to kill Goliath, he did not do it for himself, he did it for the glory of God, and when God is glorified, God only knows whats next. Your greatness is brought forth only when you have the desire to kill the Goliath before you. David went in the name of God, but the key is that he went, now is the time that we must go, now is the time that we must not only have faith, but we must step out on it, and posses that which God has given us. Will it hurt sometimes, yes, will you want to give up yes, will it seem that all is lost, yes. However, if you can believe in yourself, and focus on the goals for your life. Nothing, and I mean nothing is impossible.
