There’s a significant amount of hope to be found in Jimmy Roman’s songs. He encapsulates the essence of the human condition while offering a light at the end of the tunnel. Jimmy brings light to a dark world and a longing for something more significant. Although Jimmy Roman is fairly new to the singer/songwriter scene, he’s no stranger to the area of songwriting. At the age of 15 he picked up the guitar and began learning his first few chords and then jumped into writing lyrics. By the time he graduated from high school he had started a rock band called 11th hour. His experience with the band helped hone his musical skills. Although the band played many youth group events he saw so much oppression and depravation the song material never seemed to stop.

Jimmy Roman will be the first to say that he is a follower of Jesus. This doesn’t mean he’s lost touch with the world, it just means he looks at the world through the lenses of love instead of hate. His debut EP Vagabond’s Riches, released in 2006, is a collection of songs that expresses the tension in everyday life. He’s currently taking a sabbatical from playing shows but is still working on new material. Embrace Jimmy Roman’s sound and message. We’re sure you won’t regret it.
