I'm a designer and musician who calls Nashville, TN home. My portfolio is located at www.jon-kyle.com. I also listen to a lot of music.
I've been doing the music thing for a long time. Was born into a family of musicians, so I've been around it all my life. Been on tour a couple times, going back out on the road here soon.
My interest in design began at around 12. Got a copy of photoshop from that uncle who lives in the woods and steals cable TV from the neighbors. I'm much more interested in print than anything else at the moment.
Anyway, I'm not into popularity contests, but this account is pretty much a free for all. I use it as a way to communicate with people other than friends. Hopefully that justifies the ridiculously high "friend" count.
Also, I do some virb customization for other people. I'm fair when it comes to price, so get in touch if you want anything done.

I've updated my portfolio, and as a result my virb profile to reflect that change. I'd appreciate it if you'd give both of them a look. Also, if you want me to work on your project, please try to get in touch as soon as you can. I'm going to be incredibly busy here in a month or so, and while I'll still be doing design work, I won't have as much time to devote to multiple projects.

Very tidy and professional, as always, but I'll always miss the very first layout (the one subjected to countless rip-offs...). While I don't want to say this one lacks personality, it doesn't really stand out. Obviously, the style matches your new portfolio, so I'm not going to ruin everything and say it's not good (and it actually works better on the portfolio, in my opinion). Maybe you're trying to go for a more mature look and feel...? Anyway, good job. Really.

Thanks for the get-well wishes...Caroline actually remembered to tell me last night! Little better today...no fever. I think it's probably a sinus infection...blehhh! Oh yeah...I love the whole water-color effect you got...didn't realize you did that with a scanner.
