I started my musical journey long before I was released from my Mother's womb. From Tower of Power concerts to my Father placing headphones playing Bruce Springsteen on my Mother's belly, I was well aware the effect music had on me. It wasn't until 1997 that I began learning percussion instruments. I naturally gravitated towards the raw, carnal, and natural feeling of percussive rhythms and sounds. I had my fair share of traveling, performing, and recording as a musician. It was in a friend's Arizona studio in 2003 where I first gained interest in learning the many facets of audio and recording. In 2005, I moved to Los Angeles where I attended school for Audio Engineering. While there, I learned about Post Production for Film and immediately fell in love. I moved back to the Bay Area towards the end of 2006 and started to expand upon my skills, knowledge, and creativity. Now, I can only hope to continue my journey in sound, listening and learning along the way, to hopefully better myself as a musician, a friend, and a human being.
