ok, so this little kid was over my house this day and he was bugging me "Can i play a video game....Can i play a video game....Can i play a video game" so i just smiled and showed him Zork.
He was not pleased... "This is not a video game, I want to play a real video game". i tried explaining that you had to type what you wanted to do but i don't think he caught on. "So you're in the middle of a field and there is a house to the east, what do you want to do?" he just looked at me "i want to play a video game".
kids these days, I'm telling you they just don't make 'em the way they used to.
Alex says:
I never played Zork, except for one or two of the newer graphical versions -- but text adventures in general kick ass.
