About
After almost dying at birth from childhood cancer -Jdub- always knew he had a reason to be on this great earth.He had always dreamed that it would be his passion for music. Growing up with so much pain and confusion in his life music was always his release.In 88 he got his first beat up yamaha keyboard and thats where the experimentation began and when -Jdub- was originally born. Always tweaking the sounds on his keyboard and messing with the drums he knew there was something there! He then got completely absorbed the old skool hip hop of the time Krs 1, Das efx, and Epmd just to name a few. He really started making beats on an old overnight job he worked in 98 - 00 where plenty of spare time and computers were available to learn some of the sequencing programs producers use today. He started mainly with house and hip hop but knew his true passion was D&B. This style of music was always so unique to him and he didn't understand how come it wasn't bigger in the states. After a chance discussion with breakbeat science label owner DJ Dara wherein Dara told him we needed more producers stateside he then vowed from that point on that this was what he wanted to pursue. So he quit messing with the techno and got started on producing his own unique style of D&B! The rest is Jungle history!! Straight out of the Dirty pine barrens of new jersey comes the crazy old school vibes of this relatively new junglist to the scene -Jdub-
