City Stages is finished (as I’m sure most of you know). The year I played (2008) was one of the most exciting line-ups the festival had seen and it was one of the bigger moments of my career. I was by interviewed by Fox 6 here in Birmingham and explained how I felt about the festival.

City Stages was great to me and was one of the highlights of my (still) young and (still) struggling career. Part of me will miss the festival and I have a feeling another festival of sorts will happen along with the other ones in the city (Bham Folk Festival, Crawfish Boil, etc.).

I’m sad it’s gone but I can see why. I’m not a naive, local artist (yes, I live in Birmingham and not sure why some people don’t know that).
