Hello, my name is Jon. I am currently a film-maker who has worked (and is continuing to be working) in elements such as music video and short-film.
I just recently won an award for my flagship short movie "You and Me", which was recognised in the MotionPlymouth 2007 festival as the "Best Music Movie".
As a person, I would like to consider myself a friendly, easy-going individual who likes the finer things in life such as cheese, wine, and Bill Murray.
When I grow up, I want to be a Ghostbuster! But seriously, I am now considering a career in web design after I complete my fine art degree and use film-making as a fun side-project.
I enjoy listening to music, watching great movies, running, walking, socialising, and computing.
I am currently studying the final year of my BA (Hons) Fine Art degree. This has given me the freedom and experimentation to create various short-stories containing narratives such as one-sided love in the male point-of-view, to a simple, comedic game of draughts.
I have been making a few music videos for a great friend of mine and aspiring singer/songwriter named Manuel Da Costa, whose musical inspirations include Nick Drake, Guillemots, and Coldplay; so check him out. He's #1 on my friends panel in case you can't find him.
I will also be working with a talented young lady named Jemma Rycroft, on a future music video. She's an acoustic singer/songwriter and you can find her music on her MySpace.
The below section icontains a showcase of some of the work I do in the form of a YouTube channel. Just use the left and right buttons to change each of the films.

i would play the bass [which i already do]...but i would like to be good enough to at least sing back ups. because i suck at singing to a high degree. mmm the members of my band would be chris martin and either Tegan or Sara to co-lead singing together, and co-piano playing. I'd probably get the Edge of U2 to take care of guitar skills....and hmmmm maybe the drummer from the Cure to pull out some rad beats. So far that's all I've got, but we'd be indie-experimental-jazz-big band influenced for sure. what about you?
molly., Nov 3, 2007:
i actually didn't hear about their new album whatsoever. only nine songs?!!? that's quite depressing. I listen to A Rush of Blood to the Head more than X&Y, but both still good. Can't forget Parachutes either.... I honestly thought they were taking a 5 year break to raise their children. God it shows how much I know.

Hi Jon, thanks for the kind words! Love the music you've been putting visuals to, you've done them justice... V.
