Some of the guitar effects were accidental but turned out as keeper for me. Some new toys made their way onto this on including an old Ernie Ball volume pedal. It's sweet! The emotional playout of this track is sort of an ode to intellectual nostalgia. Life is a series of loops we go through. Each time around we have to try and get it right. The human race hasn't been doing to good on that front. We really need to temper the alloy of our wisdom. It's that or become extinct.

The meeting of minds described is between humans at first, then after we're gone and some race from the stars discovers us, another meeting of the minds takes place. They discover who we were and come to understand us in thier own way. You have to fill in the blanks as to how but rest easy. Our bottle is already in the ocean. They will fond it.

It was an alternate recording altogether that I was going to scrap. After the version with vocals was finished I went back and mixxed down what I had and this just fell into place emotionally. The title itself is a reference to the month in which I was born. As I put my releases past biased family and friends, most agreed it was time to begin a project with an instrumental. I easily agreed.
