If you haven’t been following along then you’ll know that I have been having roommate issues. I won’t get into it here because it isn’t important anymore. I was just informed that my roommate is moving out in December. This, essentially, breaks our lease because our last month in the apartment is January. She just gave me less than 30 days notice on this so I’m kind of freaking out about it right now.

In a way, this is good. I no longer have to deal with her crap laying all over the apartment or her dirty dishes. This gives me a good chance at finding a roommate that I’ll be happy with or moving in with Nick, which I know would work out. This still puts me in a bind because she (my roommate) said that she wasn’t going to help pay the bills for December.

I’m not really sure how to proceed with this because I’ve never broken a lease before. I already have a lead on something and my backup plan is to move into Nick’s place with him and his roommate. I guess I’ll just have to see, but giving that it is such short notice, I’m most likely going to have to move in with Nick.
