About

Well.. I'm Josh. I'm 15. I'm homeschooled, the oldest of 10 kids (no, not a typo.. 10 kids.), a bit of a computer geek, and absolute music fanatic... as you probably coulda guessed by my music thing on this page. I listen to all kinds of music, and quite often. Music is quite simply my life. I don't know what I'd do without my iPod. I think I'd probably go into deep depression if my HD with all my music crashed.

I'm cynical, usually levelheaded, and introverted (not online though!) -- I'm quiet around people I don't know but once I do know you, I won't shut up. I would like to change that though, and am working on being more outgoing. So, how you doing?

I currently attend a Pentecostal Holiness church which I'm very happy at. (though I don't consider myself a part of any denomination really) Great pastor, great environment, etc. I run the audio/visual aspects of services, ala projector and soundboard. Since the youth group there kinda sucks (it's just me and my sister really) I attend another local youth group, Browns Chapel Methodist Church. The youth leader there is my dad's bosses daughter. Sadly church and youth group is virtually my only offline social interaction. I'm starting to despise homeschooling now, but I don't have a choice.. so...

I'm currently way out in the country in Virginia. I'm hitting the road straight for the city as soon as I turn 18!

I'm 5' 7", and 160bs. I've lost 50 pounds so far (was about 213 on the first of this year).. woot. I feel so much better! Woot! Anyhow, I'd seriously recommend the CalorieKing Nutrition and Exercise manager.. or if you're cheap the free Sparkpeople.com calorie counter. Either way, watch your calories and start exercising.. that's all I'm doing and it's worked quite nicely so far.

Let's blog!

Well, I can't really say anything much that I haven't already said elsewhere in my profile, but I thought I'd try out the blog here and see how it looked on my page after I tweaked some CSS and stuff...

The Autumn Film, Jul 2, 2007:

Thanks for the add on virb. Hey don't worry two out of five of us we're home schooled and we turned out alright.

Hey Josh, whats up?

Joson, Apr 5, 2007:

Wow. No adoptions or twins here either but the oldest is like 23...or 24...I'm not entirely sure. Possibly 25...
We've got an even split of 5 girls 5 boys...2 crammed bedrooms. Haha. Although the two oldest have moved out now.

mmhmm. I'm more of a Matt Costa type person, but then I randomly crave FF5 and rougher music.Apparently neither of us are into sports either.

So whats the age lineup of all your siblings? My family:
1, 4, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 21, and then my amazing older brother who I can never remember the age of. Like 25 or something...

Joson, Apr 5, 2007:

Introverted. Way to be. Heh. Me too. I'm working on that as well.
I am gonna say that it is only insane how much our lives are alike.

Your the oldest of 10 at 15? There has got to be some twins or adoptions in there somewhere right?

Freedom13, Apr 4, 2007:

Oh, well thatsnot cool. But I know what you mean, I sometimes get a few weeks behind in my schoolwork (sometimes even more) . Ya just gotta stick to it- lock yourself in your room and don't leave until you've reach your goal of "x" number of pages. So what kind of books do you use? I have a computer program called "Switched-On-Schoolhouse". Its pretty cool.

Yeah, I know.... its like "What?!?! I could buy a car for that much! Then I could drive the car into a wall and have it fixed and plated in gold and it woul still be less!" lol But the important thing is that she's ok. So are you on SB yet?

Oh, well I'm glad she's getting better. Shezzzz, surgery is always so scary, even if its just something little. My grandpa had to have a pacemaker put in last weekend because his heart was only running at 35%, he could have died just from normal activity, like walking. I got so nerved up, and it was crazy. But he's ok now, and I'm glad. Yeah, this place is awesome, I really like how its more like an actual website than a fill-in-the-blank-cookie-cutter page. I don't play around with web design much anymore, so I don't really want my own site, so this is very cool. It only I could get those players to work...

Hey Josh! Man, is it good to see someone familiar around ! lol There are too many old people on here, not many kids... oh well. So when did you get an account? Wow, you lost 26 pounds? Did you follow a diet, or exercise, or both? Thats so cool, keep it up! So how is your sis doing? Much Luvs~Shell

Radio Matthew, Mar 23, 2007:
