Our Clean Water for Africa Tour has brought us to Philadelphia. This is my first time in Philly and I think we did a good job at getting some of the sights in. My friends Eric and Sarah DeBoer hosted me for a night before I met up with the band. They helped coordinate a house concert at another friend's house which was a lot of fun. A casual wine and cheese event. Very nice.
The next day we had a show at Rosemont College that had one of the most enthusiastic crowds we've had in a while.
We spent the next day seeing the sights of downtown Philly. the Rocky steps in front of the art museum, the Washington memorial thing (pictured above), the indoor market and a pub in the heart of things. We took the bus and subway in from our hotel and were pleased that our RV had not been towed when we returned.
We have a late show tonight and an early show 8 hours away tomorrow. Yikes! Lots of driving ahead. Peace.
