Music has always been a passion for Florida dj/producer, James Scannell..
Growing up, James was always listening to music from multiple genres,
including rock, reggae, hip-hop, and jazz. At an early age, James immersed himself in the study of music, mastering several instruments in childhood and eventually studying at the famed Berklee College of Music in Boston.

James extensive, advanced musical training plays a subtle, yet important role in his live sets, marked by heavy, sensual bass lines and his effortless and meticulous blends of both melodies and beats. James
Eclectic musical taste shows in his on-point track selections.

In the early 90¹s, James passion for music and the arts led him to underground parties held in and around the Washington DC area, thrown by renowned crews of the time including Buzz Life, Fever, Pure Love, & Ultraworld. These early experiences in the electronic music scene prompted James to purchase turntables, furthering his study of music and prowess as a performer.

After relocating to Manhattan to attend the School of Visual Arts, James began frequenting shows at Limelight, Club USA, the Palladium, Tunnel,Sound Factory, and Twilo where he regularly studied the sounds and skills of respected founders in the burgeoning NYC house music scene including Junior Vasquez, Danny Tenaglia, John Digweed, Sasha, Joey Beltram and Jeff Mills.
James began performing opening sets for DJ Kazu (Vinyl Market, NYC), the Earth Program (Razor parties at the Opium Garden), and the Blunted Funk Crew. James love for house music began to evolve into a career as both a dj and producer.

James currently holds a residency, SESSION, at the Palm Bay Club In Saint Petersburg Florida ,held the 2nd & 4th Fridays of each month. SESSION guests include Richard Brunelle (Rhythmburn, Miami), Sneak E Pete (Blunted Funk, San Francisco), Pete Bones (Red Ant Recordings), Will Weaver (Simon¹s Gainesville), and Hallucination Limited artist Bob Skies.

Let's Go Outside hails from Portland, Oregon where he first released on small local experimental label, Buried In Time. Citing his influences as "techno, techno, techno and Tetris", LGO also takes inspiration from IDM, ambient and electro, all of which are evident in this three-tracker. Early 2008 will see the re-release of I'll Lick Your Spine by LGO (originally on Pnuma). This will feature remixes by Massi DL and label mate, Vector Lovers. Let's Go Outside's debut album, 'A Picnic With The Hunters', is due for release in January 2008.
